Brussels, Belgium
Brussels is the capitol of Belgium, filled with street art, unique shops, chocolate, and you cannot forget about the beer! Brussels is another walkable city. You can spend one day here and easily hit all the top things to do.
Cologne, Germany
Cologne is a vibrant European city that most major railways stop in. Home to numerous museums, a historic cathedral, and a large concert venue- there are endless things to do for everyone. Bonus the majority of them are free and the city is entirely walkable.
Paris, France
We were on a week long trip through Europe and the first stop was Paris. I was thrilled- I have been wanting to see the Eiffel tower since I was a kid. Paris is known as the city of lights and truly comes alive when the sun goes down.
Bear Mountain Trail
Bear Mountain Trail is a 6 mile loop that connects three separate trails including the Appalachian Trail. The peak of the hike is also the highest point in Connecticut. A strenuous hike with outrageous views.
2018 - Year in review
The annual Year In Review is here. 2018 was an extraordinarily busy year full of a unique amount of milestones- I graduated college, passed the RN boards exam, moved three times, and started my first full time job. Crazy right? Now that 2018 is over it’s time for our annual year in review.
