Amsterdam, Netherlands

Amsterdam is one of the most popular destinations in Europe, and for good reason- Amsterdam has something for everyone. It is one of the most unique cities in Europe, known for the Red Light District, The Anne Frank House, 24/hr clubs, Mary Jane, Heineken, the Canals… and the list goes on.

Brussels, Belgium

Brussels is the capitol of Belgium, filled with street art, unique shops, chocolate, and you cannot forget about the beer! Brussels is another walkable city. You can spend one day here and easily hit all the top things to do.

Cologne, Germany

Cologne is a vibrant European city that most major railways stop in. Home to numerous museums, a historic cathedral, and a large concert venue- there are endless things to do for everyone. Bonus the majority of them are free and the city is entirely walkable.

Paris, France

We were on a week long trip through Europe and the first stop was Paris. I was thrilled- I have been wanting to see the Eiffel tower since I was a kid. Paris is known as the city of lights and truly comes alive when the sun goes down.

Bear Mountain Trail

Bear Mountain Trail is a 6 mile loop that connects three separate trails including the Appalachian Trail. The peak of the hike is also the highest point in Connecticut. A strenuous hike with outrageous views.

2018 - Year in review

The annual Year In Review is here. 2018 was an extraordinarily busy year full of a unique amount of milestones- I graduated college, passed the RN boards exam, moved three times, and started my first full time job. Crazy right? Now that 2018 is over it’s time for our annual year in review.

2017 - YEAR IN REVIEW

A quick reflection on '17 before midnight hits and we hit the ground running in 2018. 2017 was a wild ride filled with amazing trips, great friends, and a million micro adventures. 

Great Wass Island Preserve

Great Wass Island Preserve was one of the most beautiful hikes and places I've seen. There's more pictures than words on this post and rightfully, it was stunning.

The Grand Canyon Day 1 & 2

Grand Canyon National Park is one of the most visited parks in the US drawing 4.5 million visitors a year. It's enormous! 277 miles miles long, 10 miles wide, and 1 mile across. 

Petrified Forest

Petrified Forest National Park is one of the parks everyone should visit at least once. The park can easily be done in one day and the amount of history you will see is incredible.

Devils Bridge

Devils Bridge is located in the red rock secret mountain wilderness of Sedona, AZ and it's the largest natural bridge in the area. It's a day hike that's around 4 miles out and back.
