hey there

I’m Rachael. I created this website in 2015. I was hiking, camping, and exploring the outdoors every chance I could. I would jump online, searching for new places to explore and hike, but always ran into the same problem- there were never enough pictures or details and I was always left with questions- where do I park? What’s the terrain going to be like? etc. So I decided to start documenting the trips I take and the places I explore in hopes of helping other people along the way.

Then the creativity started flowing. Eight years later the website has now become home to blog posts, trip itineraries, videos, collections of pictures, and a map documenting the entire journey.

Along the way the adventure crew has grown. I married my wife in Grand Canyon National Park in 2022 and coming January 2025 were expecting our first baby to join the crew.
